As a biker, the Western Ghats also known as the Sahyadris are my go-to mountains to rev up my bike and myself. The continuous chain of mountains is every bikers delight. They are one of the major watersheds of India and offer stunning views especially the mountains showing different variations. I spotted this awesome pair of Spot-billed Duck floating in a classic linear formation at ease with their surroundings. My poem – Drenched In Rain is a result of this grand sight. It features in my book – Culturekurry, both, e-book & paperback version can be bought by clicking the link below –

Raindrops don’t feel to soothe any more
They fall like darts from the glooms bore
Burning the soft coat
Even the bravest of seafarers boat
Each drizzle is a burning sizzle
The thickest of skins start to fizzle
Vibrant garden blooms feel the gloom
The ferocious winds like a sonic boom©
