Cheese Kofta Curry

I’m so excited to share this incredible recipe with you! It’s a delightful twist on a classic dish that’s bursting with flavour and made with a touch of creativity. In just under thirty minutes, you’ll have a mouthwatering meal that’s perfect for when you’re in the mood for something new and exciting. The rich, savoury cheese paired with the creamy white gravy makes this dish a real showstopper – it’s one of my absolute favourites! Ingredients :
Paneer – 115 gms
Bengal Gram Flour – 60 gm
Soda bicarbonate – a pinch
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Green chillies ( whole) – 4 pcs
Yogurt – 1 cup
Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
Onions – 2 pcs
Ginger ( cut to julienne) – 1 tbsp
Green Coriander – 2 tbsp
Oil – 30 ml
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves – a few sprigs
Spices for roasting :
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin – ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Black Peppercorns – 1 teaspoon
White Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek ( Methi) seeds powder – ½ teaspoon
Carom ( Ajwain ) – ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
Mango Powder – 1 teaspoon
Instructions :
1 ) Grind together a fine paste of the Onions and green chillies.
2 ) Heat Oil and saute the onions and green chillies paste along with ginger garlic paste.
3 ) Add all the spices and fry further for 5 mins on medium flame.
4 ) Add lime juice, and salt and simmer adding a little water if required.
5 ) Cut cheese into cubes.
6 ) Prepare a thick batter with gram flour, soda, salt and water.
7 ) Dip cheese in the batter and deep fry in a separate pan.
8 ) Put the fried cheese into the prepared curry.
9 ) Add beaten curd and cream. Do not boil after adding curd but mix well.
10 ) Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander and juliennes of Garlic.
