How to cook Masala Fried Mackerel

I picked up some fresh Mackerel from the local fish market. Usually, I prefer buying fish from Belapur market, especially varieties like pomfret, salmon, or kingfish. However, with less time available, I decided to try the nearby market. The sight of large, fresh mackerel excited me, as it was perfect for making a crispy Masala Fried Fish. This simple recipe, straight from my cookbook, pairs well with Dal & Rice or your favourite drink. Once you get the spices right, this humble fish can become the highlight of your meal. With the addition of Tamarind, the dish gets a whole new elevated tangy and juicy flavour that lingers on your taste buds for long. Check out my quick and easy Masala Fried Fish recipe.
