Tawa Grilled Prawns by Sameer S Nilatkar
I don’t need a reason to enjoy prawns. Nice, juicy, and crispy prawns are a delight, especially when I want to prepare something quick on a tawa without much fuss from a marinade. This recipe comes to the rescue when I don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen after a long day at work or a tiring bike ride. It’s a simple two-step dish that packs a punch and leaves you satisfied. I’m sure you’ll try this soon, perhaps later tonight, and thank me for this comforting recipe!
Ingredients:
Prawns ( shelled & de-vein ) – 400 gms
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Maggi Magic Cube – 1
Mango Powder – 1 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Melted Butter – 10 ml
Method:
1 ) Mix all the ingredients except Prawns in a large bowl.
2 ) Heat a Tawa or Pan. Drop the Prawns in the bowl and toss them. Saute them for 10 minutes turning sides. Serve hot garnished with coriander and lemon wedges.
